We use about a tenth of the water steam cleaners use and unlike steam cleaners that leave on average 15-25% of the water they shoot into your carpet and pad in the carpet and pad.  We mist our green pH balanced solution over your carpet and using our soft, exclusive carpet pad we are able to agitate each and every fiber thoroughly down to the base, and get an incredibly clean carpet unlike the steel tool of a steam cleaner that loves to 'soak and suck' with no agigitation.  Then, we flush everything out with our super absorbent bonnets leaving your carpets clean and revived.

Carpet Cleaning Steps of Service


 

  1. Walkthrough: First your Carpet Monkey technician will go through and look at the areas that you need to have cleaned.  We will evaluate any problem areas such as pet urine issues and heavy soiling.  We will focus on your needs are and take note of all carpet issues, i.e. damages, tears or bleaching.

  2. Move Furniture: We will move the light moveable furniture before beginning the cleaning process.  We do not move heavy items such as beds, dressers, armoires.  We also don’t move electronics.

  3. Vacuum: Using ORECK professional grade vacuums we will vacuum the open areas, not covered by furniture, to remove as much of the loose soiling, that may have occurred between cleanings, as possible.

  4. Carpet Cleaning: We will use our green carpet cleaning method, applying a light mist across the surface. We then use our 100% cotton bonnets and rotary carpet cleaner to gently extract the soil from the fibers. This process is known as emulsification. The soil is trapped in the cleaning solution and absorbed by our super absorbent bonnets.

  5. Grooming: We use a professional carpet groomer over the carpet fibers, raising the carpet pile and giving them a revived fresher look.  The rake makes your carpet say, “Aww!”
